HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Bird’s Bush Primary School is a co-educational day school, administered by Staffordshire County Council Education Committee. It caters for pupils between the ages of 3+ and 11+ and serves mainly the Belgrave area of Tamworth.
Bird’s Bush is situated in spacious grounds, which provide excellent opportunities for games and play as well as a large outdoor seating area and our own nature reserve.
There are two buildings with excellent facilities. The main school is housed in the larger building and there is also a purpose-built nursery building with its own safe play area.
The school has a large, multi-purpose hall, a superb ICT suite and Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms. The school is a safe environment, with a high fence around the whole perimeter and locks on all external doors.
